The images in irrigationtechnik.com are part of Dr. Beau Freeman’s private collection of postcards and archival materials. Postcard donations are welcome (see the Contact page).
The postcards date from the late 1800s to the present. They depict many historical landmarks in the early development of irrigation in the United States. In addition, views of irrigation are shown from around the world. Of particular interest are postcards that illustrate traditional irrigation methods and early construction techniques.
